New Duramax Power Specs

I would be interested in what they did to the Allison 1000 to handle the new power?

Also I do not know how my measly 385/865 Cummins will ever get our 16K 5er over a pass. :W :W :W

Very impressive. Hopefully they figured out a way to package the DEF tank better.

Wow 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque that is quite the increase over its old power ratings. Interestingly it seems like they went with the same displacement that they previously had. I wonder what modifications they had to make to the engine in order to achieve this power level because they last stated that they stretch the rubber band pretty tight.

445 and 910 is not too shabby. I'm going to hold out until the 500/1000 is common place. Heard GM is also looking at a diesel in the Traverse.
