new Escalade as TV
I just bought an escalade esv. it is new and has the 6.2l with 420hp and 460tq. It also has the 8 speed transmission. Has anyone used this setup or the yukon xl for towing a camper? Thank you.

I haven't used our new one (2012) but I did tow with our old one(2003). It did good towing a car hauler with 3 fullsize quads on it equaling about 3500-4000 pounds. The only issue I really had was the height of the trailer hitch. When leaving a parking lot or going onto a ferry with steeper approaches the hitch would scrape big time. Everything was level when on level ground. The newer ones will tow even better but if you have a taller trailer it will be better just for clearance sakes.
