Wow Travel Lite must go way out of their way to hide the specs on their Evoke line. Not really impressed with companys that sell glamor and hide specs. I am a fan of the aero nose but it does not make it anywhere as clean to pull or from side winds as say an Airstream.
Anyway KC10Chief if you read my two comments stick to a dry weight up to 7k for a safe wet weight of 8k and then set up your rig per scale results and you will have a safe stable tow. More gets questionable. The 13,200 rating may not handle the trailer notably better in the wind than say the same ish F150 that is rated a couple 1,000 less for its max tow. Especially if wheelbase axle ratings suspension is the same.
Yeah. The more I look into Travel Lite, the less impressed I am. I can't find many dealers that seem like they're on the up and up or that aren't also a used car lot. The one video they have on their site looks like a bunch of hipsters drinking fancy beer and no shots of the RV. I don't get it. I've been looking around and the camper I am really liking is the Keystone Cougar 29BHS. There are dealers nearby. The camper is about 6,900 pounds dry according to Keystone. It has bunks in the back and a king bed up front. A couch that faces the TV and a dinette. Big awning. Auto leveling jacks. I've been looking into getting some airbags and a ProPride hitch for the best towing experience.
Still loving my truck. No regrets. I knew when I bought it that it wouldn't be towing 13,200 pounds. My headline was more of an attention grabber.
