New F150
Could not stand looking at the new trucks so decided to bite the bullet and get a new one for myself! It was tough to give up the old 97 F150... It was a really good truck and never let me down. ...

Actually, it's NOT the "HD payload" version.. That's got the #8200 GVWR and those funky 7 lug wheels..
Mine is the "MAX TOW", which gives a bit extra GVWR for the 6 lug rigs (Other "tow package" rigs I looked at only had a max #7400 GVWR and 3.55 gears) and I'm going to take full advantage of that #1900 payload!! :)
I'm liking the "Fuel Economy" display and so far with just over 100 miles on the rig, it's showing an "average" of 17 mpg.. Yes, I know it's just the computer readings.. I'll do hand calculated figures when I fill up the tank.. :)
Anyway, loving the thing and all I want to do is drive it! :)
