$40K for a 4x2 seems steep to me also. I've got a 350 with the 6.2 and couldn't be more happy with it. Pulls our trailer fine and doesn't lack any power at all. Push the skinny pedal down and she just goes. Had diesels in the past and don't miss the expensive maintenance. Ride is nice and they did a good job on the redesign. MPG's are as expected but don't really care since I didn't pay the $9K for the diesel option that will never pay for itself. This one should last at least 17 years like the old one did.
