I have a new F350 with the adaptive cruise and blind spot and really like it. I use the blind spot when towing my fifth wheel, just have it programmed as a conventional trailer. The adaptive cruise is very nice, works well, just set the distance and let her go. Get the tow technology package as the cameras are great. Can look at the center console and see both sides of the trailer as you are backing.
I have the 4.10 gears and pulling 16K it is over kill. Depending on how heavy you are towing, might consider the F350 and 3.55's if not towing heavy.
