I don't have the factory 5th wheel prep package. I was looking for the rail kit part # info to pass on to my dealer so he could help others looking to install their existing hitch into the new 3500's without using the B&W goose neck kit.
I have a Reese R16K slider I wanted to install in the new truck.
The dealer installed a B&W GNRK1314 mounting kit:

and provided the Curt X5 5th wheel rail adapter at no charge:

The Curt X5 drops right into B&W goose neck hole and locks with the B&W turnover ball pin. My R16K installs easily onto the Curt rails.
The R16K disassembles easily into 2 pieces. Each component is light enough for one person to handle... making it very easy to remove the entire hitch assembly... allowing me to have an empty bed.
