Why would anyone buy an Mercedes, BMW, Volvo etc. over a good old Ford or Chevy?
There is a certain about of pride of ownership. Either you have it or you do not.
If you do not have it, you are driving a stripped down, bare bones, basic model vehicle. If you do have it, you are driving the best model you can afford.
Some folk like it and can afford it, others want way more TT for their dollar.
Still other folks think the idea of pulling a barn behind you down the road, is foolish when there are dozens of hotel in each town they go to.
