From what I can find, there are several programmer tuners that will allow me to choose my tune between economy, towing and performance with a ton of variables in between. I don't know if it can be dialed in as I'm cruising down the highway but it's a matter of selecting the tune I want and pushing the corresponding button.
I've researched the Bully Dog, the Black Bear, Diablo, Hyper Tech and Superchips tuners. Some are hand held and some are installed on the window pillar or dash for full time use/display.
The Superchips and the Hyper Tech both had pretty low reviews even though Chux Trux here in the city recommended the Superchips, a $360 hand held device where you install the tune and throw the device in the glove box after installation.
The Diablo and Black Bear seem to be getting good reviews but haven't found a lot on the Bully Dog. I have a buddy that builds race cars for drag racing that’s seeing what he can come up with as far as which is best for my application.

As far as I know there is no gas tuner that can be changed on the fly. It has to be reprogrammed to change them.
