New guy looking at f150 5.4 and 5.0
I haven't bought a trailer yet but looking in the 6500-7500 GVW . As far as a tow vehicle I was looking at either a 2010 f150 5.4 w/ 3.73 rear and max trailer package. Or a 2011 and up f150 with 5.0 ...

The reason why I am lookin at the 5.4 with max trailer package is due to the specs saying it can tow up to 11,000lbs (due do the 3.73 axle). I wouldn't take it to that max but it seems to have more wiggle room that the 5.0 with 3.73 (specs say max 9,200lbs.
