New guy looking at f150 5.4 and 5.0
I haven't bought a trailer yet but looking in the 6500-7500 GVW . As far as a tow vehicle I was looking at either a 2010 f150 5.4 w/ 3.73 rear and max trailer package. Or a 2011 and up f150 with 5.0 ...

I guess I look at things differently...the 5.4 has a much better torque curve than the 5.0 and actually has more hp and tq than the 5.0 until about 4000rpm. If both have the 6 sp tranny I would go with the 5.4 if it were me.
