New guy looking at f150 5.4 and 5.0
I haven't bought a trailer yet but looking in the 6500-7500 GVW . As far as a tow vehicle I was looking at either a 2010 f150 5.4 w/ 3.73 rear and max trailer package. Or a 2011 and up f150 with 5.0 ...

I didn't realize that the 5.0 was a 2011. If both fords have the same transmission its probably a toss up. If at all possible I would look for a ford with the select shift transmission.
