New guy looking at f150 5.4 and 5.0
I haven't bought a trailer yet but looking in the 6500-7500 GVW . As far as a tow vehicle I was looking at either a 2010 f150 5.4 w/ 3.73 rear and max trailer package. Or a 2011 and up f150 with 5.0 ...

You can get a 5.0 with a max payload pkg and a 9500# tow rating. Payload will be the limiting factor with a heavy tounge trailer. Not sure if this was available pre 11' with the 5.4. These are pretty rare and likely will require a factory order. Still waiting on mine........getting impatient;)
