New guy looking at f150 5.4 and 5.0
I haven't bought a trailer yet but looking in the 6500-7500 GVW . As far as a tow vehicle I was looking at either a 2010 f150 5.4 w/ 3.73 rear and max trailer package. Or a 2011 and up f150 with 5.0 ...

Ram has some good incentives and deals so I can get a new big horn with everything I want for high 30s priced but ford for the packages I would like mid 40's priced brand new. Anything above high 30's is out of my price range....rather go with used with ford and still get all the packages I want. Other than the payload package everything else is pretty easy to find.
