Ram has some good incentives and deals so I can get a new big horn with everything I want for high 30s priced but ford for the packages I would like mid 40's priced brand new. Anything above high 30's is out of my price range....rather go with used with ford and still get all the packages I want. Other than the payload package everything else is pretty easy to find.go jets go wrote:
If you were considering a 2014 dodge why not a 2014 ford also?
You should shop around, I was looking at some left over 2013 Ford F150 Crew Cab FX4 Ecoboost Max Tow packages and they were right at 36,500 out the door but had an MSRP of 44k range.. Keep in mind I have a ford X-Plan Pin (gets me down to dealer invoice) then subtract rebates from that. X-Plan is by no means the lowest these guys sell for, so you could possibly negotiate lower.
When I did the same with the Dodge dealer they priced me out a Ram 1500 Big Horn, crew cab, full options etc for the same price as the ford.
