Nothing is permanent, no matter how quality it's made. Human beings can destroy anything given enough (or lacking enough) motivation. I just did the roof on my Salem; no leaks so far, though I did find some pretty bad areas that needed long overdue TLC. Mine was used as a beach house the first few years with zero maintenance; they even took the dang bed platform out and slept on the floor!
Knowing what I know about NH, I'm really hoping their TT line is a good bit less than the fivers, though the only line I saw was the Majestic; even if they were 25% less, that's still over $100,000 for a base TT. And if the options are priced the same, I may be looking, potentially, a $200,000 TT. The advantage of one is lower weight; than can be pulled with a 3/4 or 3500. One of the questions; is that for the entire range of floorplans?
