I wouldn't be the one to make recommendations..cant comment on failure thouhg second unit also failing
would suspect another component?
Not single user but the Drive 4gx uses the 4" ant and the smaller flat inside antenna-same amplifier as
mine but Weboost related they could be closer, 3' to 8' verse the 10-15' for mine. Even that though sounds
close hard on a TC. Some use the 4gx and upgrade external antenna for better pull in,
use smaller inside antenna to help minimize the separation distance needed.
Lastly vertical distance is a lot more effective than horizontal. I hadn't planned on putting outside antenna
on a mast- when issue arose I was going to switch to the smaller antennas (range is shorter).
Decided to try mast first, the additional 4' put me consistently in the 'green'.
