These two statements are in conflict. The first one clearly indicates the dealer inds no problem. So they won't be warrantying anything.
Clearly there is a warranty claim there. And they find nothing wrong?
You definitely did the right thing. Don't buy anything from this dealer. Ever.
A good dealer would return your deposit, or else offer to repair the damage to your satisfaction to complete the deal.
