I have to agree with you, to me Lance has gone down hill and is more interested in selling fluff than an good solid product, my personal opinion.
I'm not being argumentative, but I believe Lance is producing products with features based on market demands. As much as we enjoyed our first Lance (an 820), we really enjoy our 855S, because it works great with a family of 4.
You are mostly right, people want "fluff" and "fluff" carriers big price tags. I just prefer my stuff being more practical. When I was looking for a new truck in 2007 I was under the " delusion" I could find one still with hand crank windows. - Gary3ExplorerThe sidewalls are welded together then the blockfoam is put between the framing no wires in the sidewalls that I can see.

If I was in the market for another TC, it wouldn't be a Lance. - I watched the video. It's nice to see that the area of the factory where the walls are laminated appears to be climate controlled.
But the wall construction is very odd.... they take a large sheet of styrofoam, CNC route the slots for wires and wall framing, lay the wall framing in place, and then tack weld it.... a least that's what I was able to see. - jerryleejrExplorerI'm interested to see the replacements, I know they talked about consolidation among the line up.
