Checking the door post sticker for tire pressure is only good if you have the factory installed tires or replacements of the same size. If you change the size of your tires the original factory specs don't mean squat.
I have an 06 F-150 with the Michelin E rated LTX/MS2's (265/70 17's) and I love them. I run all four at 50 psi and 60 on the front/65 on the rear when towing our 5,000# TT. The wheels are rated to 80psi which is the max load/psi for these tires. Having a fairly light TT I have no need to go beyond 60/65. The ride is smooth and quiet and the improvement towing from the old P's is day and night. as always.... Opinions and YMMV. :C
