Thanks for the info on Lance and all the suggestions. I'm going to go look at 2 more TCs this week. One 2001 1010 and a 98 9500 so that should help me in my inspections. There is a 2001 Caribou fleetwood for sale, but I'm kinda leary of those from some horror stories I've read on the internet.
I'm planning to do one short trip either up north MN or in the driveway before heading out on my first big Trip out west in hopes to be better prepared.
