Regarding the spacer--There was never a spacer, but I have been looking into spacers, but have been told by many people I should not use them. It appears the max I can get would be a 1/4". Of course I could put two, but then the rim is not on the hub and that dangerous. Thus, I am trying to avoid spacers.
When I had the Brigestone I did not need them, I think it was a stiffer tire.
mguay If you are going to get the Michiln Tires right now, I would put the camper on when purchasing. Then you can see if they will work and not drive on them. Yours is a new truck, 2005 vs 2003 and maybe something has changed. What tires do you have now?
Uniroyal Laredo 215/85/16 run @ 70lbs all the way around with 1" of clearance while hooked to the 1900# pin weight 5er. Wear has been great at around 50k....the big prob is they are useless in the snow and unfortunately I live where it snows......for know!
