Mine will run the ac unit 10-11 hours on the little tank of gas, which I think is 0.9 gallons.
I have never have this problem.
once I am don using it for trip or season, I run it until it shuts off out of fuel, then put a little Trufule or vp racing small engine fule in the tank, run it a few minutes and just shut it off. Mine sits for months and never had a problem.
