I actually prefer the flat roof and the little bump out overhang where the awning is. My 992 is a 2018 with arched roof / ceiling. Not terribly fond of that design because it sits higher and won't go through my 12' shop door.
Looks like you are on the wet side of WA. I'm in Spokane. Lived on the wet side until 2013. I had a 2010 811 from Nov. 2009 through September of this year.
Is the truck in your signature the one that the camper is going on?
