Another new Ram/Cummins owner sees the light! "Six in line, pulls just fine." Glad you are happy with it. Ram has come a long ways since 1989 when the first Cummins was put into a Dodge truck. Not towing getting 20 mpg is not at all uncommon. Others will not believe you and think you are blowing smoke but it is true.

Well it is time the OP step up the Game! His listed 5er is dry at 7,808# with a payload of 3,834, so right now not likely over 9,000#, he is not close to what that Ram can pull.
My 2001 with less than 280 HP, tows 11,000# just fine.

Time to get a bigger 5er. :B
