NEW RAM HD 1000lb-ft #2

I was ready to post this and it came pack ERROR thread has been closed.

"I have always said to ignore the people that side track a thread as it happens, i know I have gone off topic before also. BUT maybe a PM between these two would save a lot of scanning to get to the next post.

Really hate to see this one get closed as it's a good topic for people interested in a new truck."

SOOOO let's keep this going AND as close to on topic as possible. ;)

Anyone of the opinion the new under bed "canister" filter replacing the Spin on RAYCOR have anything to do with the new pump???

If it's easier to get to and service than the old one then I'm all for it.
Have to wonder though, what is the price? Seems like filters for newer trucks have gotten crazy expensive.
I can change my oem and 2U for $42. The new ones are like 4 times that or more?

So from what I've gathered, the new 1000# engine is only available in the 3500 and up models?
    I hope I'm wrong.

This is true my Son, along with the 68RFE.

I thought the intro video said the Aisin is now standard behind every Cummins?
I wish they would quit offering the two different outputs. All the local dealers tend to order mostly the standard output for the stock they keep. That and they're all black or white.
I also didn't see anything about the upfitter switches.

Doesn't look like I'll be buying off the rack next time.

EDIT: just watched intro vid again. Trans is "new" Aisin (what ever that is).

Lot's of different stories, Updated, New and Upgraded have all been used.
