Wow, that's one teeny weeny (79 cc) engine for a so-called 2400 watt genset! :E Geez, the Yamaha EF2400iSHC has a 171 cc engine ... now which one in this class do you think would be up to the task? :h

Ever hear of a Honda 80 dirt bike? It will haul a 175 lbs. person around pretty handily. Will it be equal to something bigger? No. But that doesn't mean it won't be up to the task. All depends.
There's absolutely no relationship at all between an 80 cc dirtbike engine and a 79 cc genset engine attempting to power a 2400 watt rated inverter under load. :R And yes, I rode for 30 yrs so I have "heard" of an 80 cc dirt bike and understand what it can and can't do. :Z
With the WH2000i having been discontinued it seems Westinghouse has simply tacked a larger inverter on to that same 79 cc engine and called it good :E ... doesn't take rocket science to figure out that when the same engine is required to do more work, the same work a Yamaha EF24000iSHC does but with a 171 cc engine, that smaller engine is going to be under significantly greater stress. :S
