new released invertor generater

Oh gee - im the guine pig, the new guy.. just kidding. I don't know the specifics of the Frigidaire 8k but when I hear or see 700 watts that I gotta think it will run it and even if the compressor kicks it up to max for a min I wonder if I should try it and just set it to non economy mode for the power spike. Then I wonder how much I will need AC in the rockies. Im stumped but all the help and advice is greatly appreciated. Champion sounds great but the 100 pound plus weight doesn't sound to fun.
