Maybe a few lawsuits are needed to get manufacturers to smarten up. RVs are purchased from a dealer and if it were me, I'd sue them because you have a contract for sale/purchase with them, not the manufacturer.
That's like saying I can sue Ford because I don't like the way the door doesn't stay open. The hold notches are improperly located. I had every opportunity to discover that before I bought the truck. It's a design flaw, plain and simple but I can't sue Ford or the dealer because of it.
