You make it sound as simple as moving a picture on the wall. Well, it is not that easy, and in fact, is major rebuilding that when finished would show the butchering necessary to move the toilet. You are much better off installing a clip to hold it up. The manufacturer actually did you a favor by refusing to make the repair you demand.
And then after repositioning toilet the front will stick out too far an cabinet door hits it, or shower door hits it, or knees get jammed .
Clip it and forget it.
Or aim better and leave the seat down.
