- tbredExplorer IIIt really is a gem! Everything looks in immaculate condition, the ONLY thing that I would give a facelift would be the wallpaper. Love the exterior color too. You folks did great (and son will have great times!
- jwickerExplorerWe have only taken is out twice now.
Both times, we have gotten several thumbs up and a few people stopping to ask about it.
The paint was done by the previous owner.
She was a self-defined neat freak and tried to clean some stains off of the outside with............ thinner. That took the original white paint to bare aluminum and brought about a new paint job.
She paid several hundred dollars for a professional painter to apply this Sherwin Williams paint. The paint job is decent. Most things were properly taped off.
It's growing on me. Dear wife loved it from first sight.
thanks

- jwickerExplorerThanks for the compliments!
The truck I got from just South of Nashville ~6 months ago.
It's in great shape for the year. 350 ci small block Chevy and 700r4 transmission.
Everything works as it should. Lacks power for the heavy Skamper and gets pretty squirrelly above 55mph. Struggles to get above 45mph uphill.
The 1991 Skamper M2330T is a floorplan 'A'.
Previous owner only had it a year and only camped 2 times in it (due to health issues). She bought it from a family that had it 'in the family' since new or nearly new.
None of the local RV dealers haad anything remotely close to our meager budget. We looked at several (from local private sellers) and couldn't get past the musty, moldy, damp smells and issues.
We decided on this on after our second detailed look at it.
Interior is nearly immaculate for a 1991. New custom mattress (still in plastic), new cushion foam, newer water heater, 2 full 30# propane tanks, load leveling and swaybar hitch, new tires plus 2 new unmounted ones, newer awning.
I wasn't at all thrilled with the color, but DW loved it.
Decent size for us, our 3yo son and another couple and second child (possibly).
Here are some more (blurry/crappy cel phone) picts: - gboppExplorerNice! Real nice. Thanks for sharing.
When will we see the interior pics? :C
Are you familiar with Tin Can Tourists? - tbredExplorer IIThey both look in great shape! Do tell more!
- Francesca_KnowlExplorerNow, THAT is a cool setup!
I'd love to see interior pics of the trailer...
