New Shoes

Well, after 8 years and two failures of the OE General Ameritrack, the truck got a new set of shoes last week. Just towed home (150 miles). I am satisfied that I made the right decision. Softer ride, quiet, now just hope they give me good milage.
  • My 2012 F350 DRW came from Ford with General tires. Tires were OK for ride and wet traction, but I had to replace them at 28,000 miles. They were almost down to the indicator bars. My previous DRW had Michelin LTX M/S and when I sold the truck the tires had 40,000 miles on them and still had 1/2 of the thread depth.

I went back on with another set of Michelin LTX M/S2 tires.

    LOL, this made me chuckle.
  • Great tire but I only got 25K out of mine before I had to replace two.
  • You run your TV tires over 8 years? Most all have age dates that are suggested. I believe most are 7 years or so much tire tread measurements. Michelin have a sidewall cracking warning I have heard :B
  • They dont make 17 inch shoes with round soles, so I had to go for Yokahama Geolanders
  • So...what kind of shoes are you wearing?....Nike, Addis, Top Siders, Gucci?
