You might think about Townsend, TN instead of Gatlinburg. Easy access to Smoky Montian NP and Foothills Parkway. Easy drive over to Gatlinburg if needed. Several campgrounds available.
Also, you might want to think about Indian Boundary Campground on the Cherohala Skyway out of Tellico Plains, TN in the Cherokee National Forest.
We would also like to attend this if schedule permits.
