- GoPackGoExplorerWhich site ?
I have not looked at the Costco website. Frankly, I wouldn't bother. Best to do this face to face. They will most likely have to order them anyway. Make sure to ask what the LR is for your tire size.
I used the Michelin site to look around. Note that Michelin has Defenders for passender cars as well as trucks. If you put in your truck/SUV info at the passenger vehicle portion of the site, you will probably get 'not found'. Try under light trucks or SUV. But the Costco tire guys have a master book.
Note Costco will only install the OEM size for your vehicle. Liability issues, you know. Don't know Discount Tire's policy. But I know you can get the same tires from them.

I have the Defender LTX M/S in LR-E. Got them from Costco last year at this time. - LwiddisExplorer II"We are taking a trip out west so I'm tempted to go with load range E's"

My LR-E Defenders came from Costco.
They're always crazy busy so I suggest going to see them instead of a phone call.
Maybe I'll have to go in. The website doesn't seem to have them listed? - GoPackGoExplorerMy LR-E Defenders came from Costco.

Never replace an OEM tire with a lower load range. The Expedition is certainly heavy enough to warrant an LT load range E tire - and you can't beat the Michelin Defender in that category.

Maybe it's the site I'm searching or my understanding of the tire itself but is the Defender rating for load E? - Second_ChanceExplorer IINever replace an OEM tire with a lower load range. Rob - acritzerExplorer IIWe are taking a trip out west so I'm tempted to go with load range E's. Unfortunately it doesn't look like Costco carries any of that variety.
- GoPackGoExplorerI've always run Michelin tires. On everything I've owned for the last 30 years.
I full time now and currently have Michelin Defenders on my F350 diesel dually towing my 16,000 pound fiver. Costco or Discount Tire. - Camper_GExplorerPersonally I'd use a LT tire on it. Load range D or if you won't mind a harsher ride, load range E.
I had firestone transforce load range Es on my 2000 expedition. The ride was much more harsh, but towed my tt much better.
Up to you and what you can live with. With a 30' tt behind it. I'd use load range E, but this is my opinion only.
Good luck
