Wow, just beautiful! Congrat's...
Before you do anything check each running light and make sure they are sealed.. I'll bet they are leaking! Do not use silicone! You can clean around the base, remove the old seal, and reseal with a good clear sealer.
If any of them start leaking it is hard to find on the inside of the camper until it is too late.. The water will run along the inside seams of the foam...over to the corners, then down, and you may find the bed getting wet.. or inside a cabinet along the back..
Remember the water is going to settle somewhere.. Floors have rotted in Bigfoots.
Next look carefully at the windows, the outside. all around the frame checking the sealer for cracks. If the camper was in the sun a lot the Butyl tape that is used will crack a bit, barely visible.
Unfortunately it is winter and the Butyl tape sealer is stiff but you can still do the following.
Go inside the camper and tighten all the screws on the inside of the window. Just a 1/2 turn or more, lightly torquing, you may find that some of the screws will be totally loose. You want to kinda keep the screw torque the same all the way around...
Watch carefully for any leakage inside. The way the windows are made you will not see water on the frame, it will dribble around the bottom between the frame and the wall... check it check it check it.
When the weather warms up check and see if the Butyl tape has oozed out a bit around the outside frame. That is a good thing. Look for cracks as it oozes out. If you see cracks I would pull the window and replace the Tape.
This is experience speaking.. I had a problem when my camper was brand new! 13 years ago... Reddog1 and a couple of others that have these kind of windows have had to replace the sealing tape... After finding major water leaks in the bed area.
Get up on the roof and seal any cracks around the vents....
You have got yourself a wonderful camper! Never seen a 3000 series with any delamination of the siding like many of the newer campers/trailers etc... They did make them nice!
Yep, the speakers are junk... Easy to fix... Only problem is they are THIN type....
Have fun!
