I think you will find your mpg is right in the ball park.My gmc dually gets 9.5 to 13.8 hand figured.Speed is the enemy the diesel gets the best at 2000rpm.Funny thing is I did a 2000 mile trip with the camper and also pulled a 20' enclosed trailer loaded.The mpg avg. just under 12,but my speed was never above 65.There are things found in this form that others say will increase your mpg. One that comes to mind is sleepy air foil.I never tried one but may now that I retired If I can find the materials.
