If I had your configuration, I'd do what you did.
My issue is the dinette is in the back and the slide out TV drawer is too far from the bed, and awkward from the dinette. The dinette is narrower by the door--good in the bed configuration for putting your feet to the aft end.
I think I'll just use an iPad to watch movies and put velcro on the back wall for viewing from the dinette--with the table down and a few pillows it will make a nice lounge, and I can do something similar for the cab over area.
