I am constantly praising the benefits of seasonal camping. You'll love it!
Since we're in a county park, we cannot get elaborate with decks and sheds. We can have a small woodpile. That's it. We 6 seasonals look like the other 44 weekenders. This is fine by us, as it still feels like camping in a campground and not living in a trailer park.
Our sewer tank is not meant to be directly hooked into, but it's only a length of garden hose away. No solids or paper go into our black tank, and with the help of a small transfer pump, emptying the tanks is quick and effortless.
You'll want to do a weekly check for leaks, inside and out, limbs rubbing on the exterior, blocked gutters, that sort of thing. Recheck the level every now and then. Clean off debris from the roof and top of slideouts.
Enjoy the season!
