New to Seasonal Site.
Out of the blue we were called to check out a Seasonal Site. We had put our name on the list last year thinking maybe it would happen next year. But we lucked into a nice site and it was hard to pass ...

Been seasonal site camping for the last 7 years. For the first 6 years, its been great. Mid last year, new seasonal folks around us moved in with their dogs. Now, its like living in a dog park. re: One dog barks and the others around us start barking as well. If wondering, I have a dog. And, its properly trained. The others around us cannot keep their dogs quiet. We complain to the CG owner but he's like "gee - if they leave and I loose money". If this seasonal is another "in middle of dog park" environment, we're pulling out - and moving to a different park. One that keep their animals under control.
Other then this "turning into an improperly trained dog park" and "way too many idiot on golf karts", I like seasonal camp sites as well. No build up, no tear down, etc. etc. We simply drive our mini-van there, turn the RV door key and enjoy....
As someone above stated... Confirm your neighbor "types" before locking in a yearly contract...
