This is our 5th year in a seasonal site. Before we only spent 6-7 weekends in the camper a year but now we go almost every weekend! It's just so easy to throw some clothes in a bag and some food in the cooler and off we go. Somday we want to travel again but for now this is great for us.
We do not have to cut the grass (we don't have much anyway) and someone even cleans out our firepit! Our campground has activities every weekend during the season. Sometimes we participate sometimes we don't. Now there is no pressure on us to "do all we can" anytime we are there. We have a concrete pad and decking - it was already there when we got the sight. Put a small screenhouse on the deck to get away from the 'sqeeters:)
We do pull our camper home after the season is over. This gives us time to clean out and restock. Also Virginia would charge me a fee(tax) for leaving my camper in the campground all year. So we just tow it home to Maryland - only 40 minutes to home - for the winter.
Hope you enjoy your seasonal site as much as we do!!Happy Camping!!
