I tow a 22', #5000 GVWR TT with an F150 and it's pure pleasure to tow.... :)
I towed this same trailer with a 97 F150 with a 5.4 V8 in it and it was a great tow too, but compared to the 13 F150 with the Ecoboost engine... It's not even in the same area code! ;)
Wheelbase and how wide of a wheel track the tow vehicle has always makes for better tow vehicles IMO..
My 97 F150 had a 139" wheelbase and the 13 F150 is 145" and both where solid when towing with just a standard WD hitch setup.
