Initially, I reluctantly went to the 285/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers on mine. I wanted the extra weight capacity, but did not want a taller sidewall wondering if it would add to possible sway.
I wish I changed to these tires sooner because they handle extremely well! No noticeable sway even with a taller tire... plus, they look better filling a little more of the trucks wheel well.
I researched the possibility of 19.5's, but they do not offer a decent all- year, all-around tire tread... and I did not want all that extra weight. The 19.5's will wear out steering and suspension components much quicker. The Nitto TG tires mounted on stock factory steel wheels are the best tire combination for the money for my set-up.
