I had a pair of 285x16's in the lower pound rating on the front of my Dodge, but they wore out fairly fast. The other thing was their lack of traction in any kind of snow. Just a big truck tire made for long mileage (which I never saw). So, just a warning if you are looking for a real snow tire in that size.

I do NOT see a Nitto tire in 295/75/16 that is rated at 3970#.
I see the Terra Grappler in 295/74/16 but it is D rated at 3415?
Did I miss something?
I did find the Toyo in 295/75/16 3970# rating...that is very tempting.
Assume I will need some lift to run these?
