Perhaps. I'll give GD credit where due as talking to owners and reading stuff on the net they apparently have great support. That being said the build quality, again from talking with owners, reading, and looking at them closely at RV shows and dealers, does not appear to be any better than the other players. Players such as Forest River, Thor, Winnebago, etc in the same price ranges. All of them slap things together as fast and as cheaply as possible, using the cheapest parts and components they can source out, such as things made by Lippert. Support after the sale has to count for something but once the warranty runs out you're ultimatly on your own regardless.
Personally I do not worry about support and warranty on our Forest River product. I realized early on there actually is none unless you like to wait forever, get the run around, get flat out lied to, and like exercises in frustration. I even purchased their optional 2nd year manufacturers warranty which is not worth the paper it's printed on. On a side note they stopped offering that optional warranty as of June 1 which speaks volumes IMO.
