My wife used to put those air fresheners that plug into the wall, all over the house.
After a while I started having serious breathing issues. The doctor eventually suggested removing the air fresheners, and my issues disappeared. He also suggested that most, if not all fresheners, whether plug-in or spray, can cause weird side effects.
On my new trailer, I just opened the doors and windows and let it vent naturally....no problems after that.
The new trailers of the past few years are not nearly as bad as the new ones previously. I believe that the problems where people became really ill in the FEMA trailers for Katrina triggered a change in how trailers are made today....much less formaldehyde and carcinogens.
