I have a 2012 F350 6.7 and love it. But could probably be happy with the Chevy also. Just a matter of personal taste and what fits you best.
If you choose Ford, I would probably go with a 2012 or newer simply because 2011 was the first year for the 6.7 and I tend to avoid first year anything.
