I grew up here, and absolutely love the diverse terrain and climate, but the criminals that run the state-and the brain dead morons who keep voting for anyone with a "D" next to their name regardless of how corrupt they are-have absolutely made this place unlivable.
I hope the State of Jefferson initiative gets some traction soon; I'd love to retire here some day, but it'd have to be post-revolution :-)
