I'm also looking to go with a 2011+ used model...all things being equal, which would you choose and why?
You can't go too wrong with either. I picked a F350 Lariat in 2013 because it had a more modern interior than the Chevy. If I could have waited another year, I might have gone with the Chevy and their upgraded interior.
Personal preference though, and I think either are good choices.
