norfla71 - I'm on your side, rooting for your certain success in this endeavor! I am really familiar with the path that you are taking and understand implicitly your interest and desire to bring this "Burb" up to your needs. My heart always beats fast when I'm piloting anything with a 454 in it - gawd I love that motor. Grunt and easy to work on, you already have the 4:10 rear end to give you lots of low down go off of the lights, with or without the trailer attached. Yes, you can build up that 350 if you want except it just isn't and never will be able to compare with the 454.
I have had Timbrens and didn't like them at all so I changed over to Firestone air bags. I am much happier with them.
