You sure are putting a lot into this rig. Engine, tranny, brakes, air bags/shocks, etc. Not to mention the surprises coming your way. Because it seems there are always surprises. Then you want to go cross country for a year on numerous "junkyard" parts? And if you upgrade to 9000 pounds the rig probably will disappoint you anyway unless you go with the 8.1 litre, at least in any mountains.
